A teacher associated to a class can be edited after the class has been manually added or imported.
- Associating a new teacher to a class will replace the original teacher.
- Creating a new teacher association does not automatically share access to all assignments created by the original teacher of record. To share assignment data, see assignment sharing options.
- Note: If a nightly sync has been set up, the teacher for the class cannot be manually edited. The changes will need to be made in the rostering source to update the nightly sync.
Edit Teacher Association
A Gradient Leader may change the teacher associated to a class if there is an early retirement, a long term substitute, or other need.
- Keeping the primary teacher associated to a class and adding a co-teacher may also be an option to preserve the original teacher of record.
From Admin Mode, select the Classes tab.
1. Check the box before a class name to reveal the Edit icon on the toolbar. Select Edit.
2. In the Primary Teacher field, select the X to remove the original teacher of record. Then select the Primary Teacher field to add a new staff member.
- Type the name of the new staff member to search and select the name from the list.
3. Select Save to exit the edit window.
