IN THIS ARTICLE
Gradient Leaders with membership to the System Admin access group can set up custom fields for use when filtering data in reports.
- Examples of custom fields: Gender, Race, ELL, Ethnicity, Free/Reduced, etc. These fields will be populated when the rosters are imported or by a Clever / ClassLink roster sync.
Create a Custom Field
- STEP 1: Within Admin Mode, select the More tab and then select Custom Fields from the list menu.

Select New.

Enter a Name for the custom field. Select Save.
Edit a Custom Field
Select the custom field by checking the box in front of the specific custom field to be edited. Choose Edit from the toolbar.
Make changes to the custom field name and select Save.
Delete a Custom Field
Once a custom field is deleted, the association to any student will be removed.
- STEP 1: Select the custom field by checking the box in front of the specific custom field to be deleted. Choose Delete from the toolbar.

STEP 2: Confirm deletion of the custom field by selecting Delete.
- Note: A deleted custom field cannot be undeleted.
