Learn how to create an assignment in Schoology that will allow the Schoology assignment to be mapped to a NEW or EXISTING Gradient assignment. Mapping assignments allows students access to Gradient via Schoology as well as a score pass back from Gradient to the Schoology gradebook.
- By default, students can NOT see any Gradient assignments within Schoology until an online access window is created by their teacher either for turning in an assignment or reviewing a graded assignment.
- Lockdown browser restrictions are also available for Gradient assignments that are mapped via Schoology.

Important Information
- Deleting an assignment in Schoology does not delete OR remove access to the assignment in Gradient. A teacher must navigate to the Gradient assignment to remove online access.
When an assignment is created in Canvas or Schoology and mapped to a Gradient assignment, grades scanned from paper forms will automatically be synced back to the Canvas/Schoology grade book.
