12b. Add Attachments to a Student Portal Assignment

Follow

Attach a PDF version of the questions you want students to complete for any assignment they access through the online Student Portal.

Note: Student Portal is not available on free or paid single-teacher accounts. Please contact sales@gradecam.com to upgrade to a school or district license.

Watch a video tutorial on this topic.

1. Select the "Assignments" tab.

Assignments Tab

2. Choose the assignment for which you want to add an attachment.

Select Assignment

Note: See the related article on how to create an assignment in GradeCam Go!

3. Select the "Keys" tab (1) and then select the "Attachments" button (2).

Keys Tab, Attachments Icon

4. Select the "Upload" button and browse to the file you wish to attach.

Upload

Note: Only PDF files can be uploaded and the maximum file size of a single PDF is 10MB.  However, you can upload more than one document so breaking up a large file into several smaller files is an option.

Being able to add multiple documents is useful in providing the instructional material for the student to read and then a different attachment with questions about what they read as their assignment.

5. After uploading the documents, place a check in the Show in Student Portal (PDFs only) box.

6. Click the "Save" button.

How do you upload multiple versions? Is the first document uploaded become by default the "version 1" test/quiz?
