Saying I need to install a plugin

I've been using gradecam for a year and am trying to use it now and it's telling me the plugin needs to be installed. I've now installed it twice more and it's still telling me it needs to be installed. The program is obviously unworkable in its current state. This needs to be fixed.

Hi Charles,
Please make sure that there have not been any updates that would have caused the plugin to not run fully. It sounds like it is being blocked somehow either by the browser or the network filter. Did you shut down your computer last night? Is your camera an option in your drop down menu in settings?

Which browser are you using? Is the plugin being allowed in the browser? Did you have any updates to your browser?

Heather,
You are not seeing your camera as an option under the camera settings? Please make sure that the GradeCam plugin is "always allowed" under the Privacy settings in your browser and then reboot for full install.

If you can send what OS you are on and what version of the browser to support@gradecam.com, that will help us drill down to the issue. As mentioned before, make sure you do not have the Chrome beta installed.

I was having that issue with Chrome - it worked with Firefox as soon as I installed the plug-in. I uninstalled Chrome, then reinstalled the most current version. That did the trick for me.

At this time, you can scan without the plugin - just choose that option when prompted. We are looking into this. I am on version Version 41.0.2272.118 (64-bit) and being prompted to update but haven't yet and not having any issues with scanning. We heard that Chrome would be getting rid of all plugins soon so not sure if this is the issue with the newest update.

Works on Firefox but would prefer chrome with my work.
