Adding or removing problems from a test

I'm hoping this is an easy one.

I entered the test problems into GC, but now want to go back and add some problems and remove a few problems.

How can I do that? Thanks.

Hi Norm,
Have you already scanned in the assignment? You are not able to edit the assignment if you have scanned. You can clone the assignment and then add some questions - you are not able to pick and choose which questions you want to delete. If you change the number of questions from 15 to 12, GradeCam will remove the last three questions.

You can go in and make the questions you want to delete as "0" value so they are taken out of the equation of the overall number of points for the assignment.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

this is really something that should be looked at as possible improvement.  It's a problem not being able to revise previous quizzes/tests/keys.

Hi Mary Lou,

If you want to reuse previous tests, you are able to clone and edit in any way to use again for the current year.  You are just not able to edit after you have scanned for that test as then the forms may not match the newly revised answer key or you are overwriting the previous scans of the students.

Cloning is the best way to edit any previous tests. If you need to delete specific questions, then you can give a zero point value for that question, and it will then take that question out of the mix of the total.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,
~Donna

Agree that this platform should really make this improvement. The ability to delete a question should be  fundamental.
