forms in .png don't seem be be downloading anymore in Chrome

I'm able to download the .png version of the forms in Firefox ok but no longer can using Chrome.  Do I need to reinstall gradecam camera software thingy :) or is there a missing Chrome extension now perhaps?

Thanks

Good afternoon,

I wanted to update this forum to let you all know this has been corrected.  Please let me know if you still experience issues when trying to generate a PNG file when the key includes a Rubric with Capture.

Thank you for your patience while our great team investigated and resolved this.

Enjoy the weekend,
~Donna

Good evening,

I have the option to download to PNG in Chrome on my end. Can you share a specific assignment you are trying to download to PNG?

This is my option in Chrome:

Thank you,

~Donna

I'm having the same problem here. It provides the option to download png just like your screen capture, Donna. However, when I click on "Download PNG", there is a problem. A new window opens just like always but it's blank with no image. I've tried multiple browsers and computers, all with the same result.

Good morning, Michaela,

I am able to generate the PNG file from your account. Can you check to make sure that you do not have the pop-up blocker on for app.gradecam.com?

It seems that the forms is not being able to generate. If you click on PDF, are you able to generate the form as a PDF?  If not, then you will need to check with the IT Dept to make sure that "forms.gradecam.com" is not being blocked in any way by your network filter.

Regards,
~Donna

Hi Donna,

Here's the solution I came to with the help of a colleague: I had originally set five questions to be rubric capture. Even if I changed them to a straightforward rubric, I was still not able to generate a png, only pdf. Cloning the assignment yielded the same result. So, I created a brand new assignment with the five questions set to rubric, not capture, and my problem was solved. We came to the conclusion that there is a problem with the rubric capture option. We had no blockers enabled, so that is not the problem.

Thanks!

Michaela,

Can you share with me which assignment you had rubric with capture that you were not able to generate a PNG for?

Thank you,

Yes, it is still in there. It is the Poetry Unit Test and you can see there's a clone in there too that behaved the same way. The 2018 Poetry Unit Test is the one that ended up working.

Hi Michaela,

In looking at this assignment, there seems to be a bug in the software that is not allowing the PNG file to generate.  Rubric with capture should generate a PNG file. We are currently investigating this and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Thank you for your patience while we look to correct this.

Regards,
~Donna

I am experiencing the same problem and my sheet also has a rubric capture.  I will try the work around that Michaela Caruso suggested but I too would like to know when it is fixed. My assignment is FSF2D0 Lecture Une critique Chez Carmen 2.

Thank you
