Question about Form Identifier

Hello! I’m Mr. Cho, I’ve been teaching for five years, and I’m a bit concerned about the student forms genetated by the app.

I noticed that, at the bottom of the form, there are 30 bubbles with four different patterns in them. My worry is that this key holds the answers to the test, and that my students could somehow decode this. That being said, I am hesitant to use this service. Can anyone prove or disprove this theory? I’d really appreciate it! Thank you!

Hi Patrick,

The form code at the bottom does not contain the answers in any way. Those are for letting GradeCam know if it is a specific student or assignment so a teacher does not have to open an assignment to scan the forms. We have many ways to create our forms, and one of them is to have the form be specific for a student for a specific assignment in their class. This is what is embedded in the form code so GradeCam knows where to put the student's score.

I hope this alleviates you concern. If you have any other questions, please reach out.
