We understand that GradeCam will not meet everyone's needs, but it sounds like we haven't done a good enough job helping users discover the new features and improvements we are constantly working on. Here are a few improvements we've made over the last 2 years which you might not have discovered to add additional value.
The answer key and question types have seen a lot of improvement. It is now possible to add, move or delete questions directly from the answer key without first needing to manually change the length of the assignment. You can also provide custom labels for each question, labeling them "1a", "1b", and more. The number grid question type has seen several improvements, including new characters, the ability to provide multiple correct answers, and custom column layouts.
We've also added a new question type: "rubric with capture area" allows you to capture and grade sentences, drawing, graphs, or any other kind of handwritten content.
Another great feature we have added to help our users that are not part of a school or district account is the ability to sync your rosters with Google Classroom. Instead of manually creating your classes and students, or creating and uploading CSV files to keep your rosters up to date each year, you can simply sign in with Google and keep your rosters updated automatically.
We feel that the changes we have made will benefit a large population of our users. We have an awesome group of developers that work hard to meet needs of our users and continually add value to your investment.
Again, we realize that GradeCam may not meet all the needs of everyone and that you will have to make that decision based on your needs. We hope that you check out all the changes that we have made over the course of the last 18 months and have listened to many of our customers and made many changes.
